Senior Water Engineer

We have an opening for a Senior Water Engineer to join our client’s global consultancy. Our client is a highly established multidisciplinary design consultancy with offices across the world. Our client has expertise in more than 20 disciplines. They deliver a wide spectrum of engineering and environmental solutions for both private and public sector clients, including property developers and contractors.

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years UK experience in water services and preferably UK based work. What’s on offer

The role

To oversee and support the preparation of preliminary design reports for both public and private clients

To support the preparation of detailed tender reports, scope of works, specifications & pricing documents.

What you need to succeed

Have a minimum of 5+ years post graduate experience in Civil Engineering. Chartered/Nearing completion status.

Have experience in Water services including network design, pumping stations, WWTP, rising mains and/or UK water authorities. To have knowledge of government/public contracts and others such as NEC & FIDIC.Experience in flood risk assessments, fluvial hydraulic modelling or hydrology.

Current experience in leading, managing & running Civil engineering design projects.

Knowledge & experience of current codes of practice and design standards.
