Key Skills &

Qualifications:

Proven experience maintaining and fault-finding on SCADA and PLC control systems

Strong electrical and control systems knowledge, including PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation, and industrial communications

Experience performing routine planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault response

Ability to diagnose faults, undertake repairs, support commissioning activities, and maintain accurate maintenance records

Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Automation, or related engineering discipline

Full UK driving license

Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota, if required

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience working in a maintenance environment with emergency repairs

Knowledge of industrial communications protocols

Previous experience with commissioning projects

Preferred

Education & Experience:

NVQ Level 3 or higher in relevant engineering disciplines

Prior experience in a similar maintenance or control systems role within industrial, utility, or infrastructure sectors

Other Requirements:

Ability to work independently with a commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service

Flexibility to participate in the out-of-hours on-call schedule
