You will take real ownership of structural packages on technically demanding London projects, the sort that mix careful refurbishment with new build and rarely repeat. Less checking other people's work, more running your own, with senior engineers close enough to learn from but far enough back to let you design.

The practice is a long established London structural and civil consultancy with a reputation for the jobs other firms find difficult. That reputation is built on engineers who were given responsibility early, and the same approach is on the table for you. You will see a project from concept through to the detail that makes it stand up, rather than being handed one slice of it.

The frustration you are feeling now is real. Capable engineers get stuck on routine work because it is easier to keep them there. This role breaks that pattern deliberately. You get variety, you get ownership, and you get the kind of technical problems that make you better.
