Our client, a prominent consultancy in the highways sector, is actively searching for a Senior Highways Engineer to join their expanding team. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of infrastructure projects across London, Manchester, and Oxford.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing highway design projects, from feasibility studies to detailed design

Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement highway infrastructure solutions

Producing high-quality technical reports and documentation

Providing expert guidance on transport planning and highway design

Engaging with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met Overseeing project delivery to ensure timely completion within budget

Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and consultants

Contributing to business development activities, including bid preparation and client presentations

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in highway engineering and infrastructure design

Strong understanding of transport and highway design principles

Proficiency in using industry-standard design software

Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Chartered Engineer status or working towards Chartered status is preferred
