Position: Sr. Cost Engineer - PMC Experience (Saudi Arabia)
Location: Greater London

Eram Talent is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Cost Engineer with a background in Project Management Consultancy (PMC) to join our team in Saudi Arabia. As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing project cost management activities, ensuring that projects are executed within budgetary constraints while meeting quality and schedule requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of the oil and gas sector, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for large-scale projects.
  • Monitor project financials, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide expert advice on cost management practices and methodologies to project teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop project execution strategies and financial planning.
  • Review and validate contractor invoices, change orders, and claims.
  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis and evaluate project risks and opportunities.
  • Lead cost reporting efforts, delivering comprehensive insights to management and clients.
  • Mentor junior cost engineers and ensure adherence to project standards and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in cost engineering, with significant experience in PMC roles.
  • Deep understanding of cost management principles, including estimating, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is a significant advantage.
