We are working on several great opportunities for qualified or part-qualified Patent Attorneys specialising in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical disciplines to join leading IP practices across the UK. Key Responsibilities:

Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications across national (UKIPO), European (EPO), and international patent offices.

Advising clients ranging from early-stage startups to multinational corporations on IP strategy and portfolio management.

Conducting freedom-to-operate (FTO) analyses, patentability searches, and providing clear risk assessment opinions.

Assisting with or leading opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO.Managing existing client relationships while identifying opportunities for business development and practice growth.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualifications:

Qualified Patent Attorney (EPA and/or CPA) or part-qualified finalist.

Educational Background: A strong degree (BSc, MSc, or PhD) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a closely aligned field.
