Purpose of Role:- The Senior Electrical Engineer provides electrical engineering discipline support to the Zama Development for onshore and offshore infrastructure scope.
- The role ensures that electrical engineering deliverables are reviewed, verified and technically assured during studies, pre-FEED, FEED, detailed engineering, construction, installation and commissioning.
- The responsibility is to ensure compliant and fit-for-purpose electrical design and execution in accordance with project requirements, applicable legislation, Harbour Energy standards and policies as well as industry standards.
- The Senior Electrical Engineer works collaboratively and interdisciplinary within the project team, with partners, contractors and vendors to support delivery of the electrical scope in line with overall project objectives.
- Electrical engineering es per this job description shall be provided upon internal demand also for the Kan project as well as others project within Harbour Mexico.
- Ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner complying with all regulatory requirements, legislation and Harbour Energy HSES Procedures.
- Ensure that all activities and behaviours are carried out in accordance with Harbour Energy’s Ethics and Compliance Policies and Procedures and to complete any compulsory compliance training as required.
Electrical Engineering
- Review and verify electrical engineering deliverables for high, medium and low voltage systems, including power generation, power distribution and interfaces between onshore and offshore power generation and power consumption.
- Review and verify electrical engineering deliverables for hazardous area classification, explosion protection, lightning protection and corrosion protection systems.
- Ensure electrical engineering work is aligned with project specifications, design basis, applicable codes and standards, and Harbour Energy standards and procedures and policies.
- Identify technical issues, design gaps and optimisation opportunities, and work interdisciplinary with the project team and with contractors to define appropriate resolutions.
