We are a UK-based Independent Power Producer (IPP) focused on developing, constructing and owning utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects
.
We are seeking a Project Development Manager to lead projects from early-stage origination through to Ready-to-Build
, managing the key land, planning, grid, technical and commercial work streams.
Lead development of utility-scale solar and BESS projects from origination to construction readiness.
Identify and manage key project risks, budgets, programs and development milestones.
Manage relationships with landowners, planning authorities, DNOs/TOs, consultants and other stakeholders
.Lead land acquisition, planning, environmental and grid connection processes.
Coordinate technical studies, site assessments, layouts and project optimisation.
Support project financial modelling, investment cases and commercial assessments.
Manage external consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
Support procurement, financing, due diligence and transition into construction.
Monitor UK planning, grid and energy-market developments relevant to the portfolio.
Experience developing UK utility-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects
.Strong experience in solar PV and/or BESS development.
Good understanding of UK planning and grid connection processes.
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
Commercially minded with the ability to assess project viability and risks.
Experience taking projects through to Ready-to-Build is highly desirable.
Existing UK renewable energy, land, planning or grid network relationships would be advantageous.
