You have built a strong track record leading structural work and you are ready for the influence and recognition that comes with an associate director title.

This is a large, international engineering and infrastructure consultancy with offices in London and Manchester, working across major transport, water and infrastructure projects. Leaders here have genuine access to the direction of the business rather than being another layer of management. Client relationships here tend to be long standing, which gives senior leaders real continuity across repeat, high profile projects. If you are already doing associate director level work but still reporting to someone who barely reviews it, or feel that reaching this level elsewhere would mean losing touch with the actual engineering, this role keeps you close to the technical work while giving you the seniority you have earned. You will lead structural engineering delivery across major projects, take responsibility for technical quality, and play a genuine role in mentoring and business development.

There is flexibility over which office suits you best, London or Manchester, along with scope to shape how the structural function develops.

Salary is between 95,000 and 130,000, depending on experience.
