This senior leadership role is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Development Infrastructure Team with a strong focus on delivering high-quality built environment projects.

The position ensures technical excellence, drives commercial performance, and oversees the successful delivery of a diverse project portfolio. It also works closely with the Team Director to proactively build the opportunity pipeline and support the strategic growth of the discipline.

You will play a key role in leading project delivery and contributing to operational and growth strategies. Responsibilities include providing leadership across a range of projects—spanning infrastructure, drainage, highways, and flood risk management.

We are seeking an experienced Chartered Associate Director with a strong background in civil or infrastructure engineering. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of industry experience, including at least 5 years in an Associate Director role.

Monitoring that infrastructure engineering design principles (e.g. drainage networks, external levels) and other civil engineering aspects (e.g. flood risk, vehicle tracking), are applied/addressed appropriately on team projects, undertaking reviews and providing team and practice wide guidance and coaching where required.

Monitoring that relevant regulations and codes of practice are applied to team projects, providing team and practice wide guidance where required.

Seek, identify, develop and pursue opportunities for new and existing business development.

Representing the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings. Providing effective team leadership – including resource allocation, performance management and recognition
