We’re working with a dynamic, well-established medium-sized M&E consultancy in London that is looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join its growing team.

What you’ll be doing

• Delivering mechanical building services designs from concept through to completion

• Producing detailed calculations, specifications and technical documentation

• Working across a range of exciting commercial, residential and mixed-use projects

• Liaising with clients, architects, contractors and other engineering disciplines

• Attending design and project meetings

• Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers

• Taking ownership of your projects and ensuring designs are delivered to a high standard

• Helping develop innovative and energy-efficient engineering solutions

What we’re looking for

You’ll be an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with a strong background in building services consultancy.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Strong mechanical building services design experience

• Experience working within an M&E consultancy

• Good knowledge of UK building services standards and regulations

• Excellent technical and communication skills

• The ability to manage projects and work independently

• Experience with relevant design and calculation software

• CIBSE membership or a relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous
