Lift Engineer

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are currently looking for an experienced Lift Engineer to join our team, working across railway infrastructure and station environments throughout London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified lift engineer with strong hands-on experience who is looking to work on critical railway assets and be part of major infrastructure projects.

• Carry out installation, maintenance, servicing, fault finding and repair of lifts within railway environments.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults on a range of lift systems.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with relevant standards and procedures.
• Carry out inspections, testing and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime.
• Work safely within live railway/station environments
  , following all relevant rail safety procedures.
• Complete accurate maintenance reports, service records and documentation.
• Liaise with site teams, project managers, clients and other engineering disciplines.
• Support installation, testing and commissioning of new and upgraded lift systems where required.
• Ensure all work is completed to the required quality, safety and compliance standards

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering / Lift & Escalator Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience working as a Lift Engineer

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with lift maintenance, repair and servicing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to work across London railway/station locations

• Strong understanding of health & safety requirements.

• Flexible to work across different London sites when required.
