As a Senior Project Engineer
, you will play a critical role in the successful design, deployment, commissioning, and operational handover of customer solutions using our Grid Metrix platform
. This is a hands‑on individual contributor role with responsibility for delivering high‑quality technical outcomes across complex customer projects from initial scope definition through to live operation.

You will combine strong technical expertise with customer engagement and delivery ownership, working closely with Product, Service Operations, Commercial, and Delivery teams to ensure successful customer deployments and reliable operational performance. In addition to leading end‑to‑end technical delivery, you will contribute to the development of repeatable engineering standards, deployment methodologies, and best practices that support scalable growth.

The ideal candidate is a technically credible, delivery‑focused engineer who is comfortable moving between solution architecture, customer project delivery, commissioning and operational handover. They will thrive in a scaling technology business where processes are evolving, customer expectations are high and practical delivery judgement matters as much as technical depth.

Role Purpose

Deliver the technical execution of Grid Metrix customer deployments from scoping and solution design through testing, commissioning, and operational handover. You will own the end‑to‑end engineering delivery of customer solutions while contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering standards, deployment processes, and system reliability in partnership with Service Operations.

• Deliver the technical design and deployment of Grid Metrix customer solutions.
• Develop solution architecture covering communications, control logic, cybersecurity considerations and data flows.
• Capture customer requirements and develop technical scopes of work.
• Deliver integration with customer systems, including SCADA, EMS, DMS, measurement devices and data historians.
