Job location:

Working hours:
Weekdays & some weekend/night shift hours during railway or highwaypossessions
Contract:
Permanent Role Site Engineer – Victoria Road Ancillary Shaft / Victoria Road Crossover Box Reporting to Section Engineer /Sub Agent Role Responsibility
· Preparing and attending the Start of Shift Briefing
· Setting up work sites with GF/ Works Manager
· Working with the subcontractors and self delivery teams to ensure the timely preparation Risk Assessment Method Statements, Task Briefing Sheets,Inspection and Test Plans, Permits, Materials Compliance Records etc for theworks and that these are implemented.
· Day to day work site coordination and planning to ensure the works are carried outsafely and efficiently.
· Writing and issuing the daily site diary
· Ensuring Permits, Temporary Works and other safey systems are implemented
· Liaison with the Section Foreman to ensure the adherence to safe methods ofwork.
· Ensuring all temporary works needs are identified sufficiently early and completed in accordance with the relevant procedures.
· Ensuring all quality checks are carried out in accordance with the ITP’s and properly recorded.
· The management of non-conformance reporting and managing thenonconformances on site until complete.
The Ideal Candidate Essential:
· Degree or equivalent in civil / Environmental engineering or similar
· Relevant CSCS Card
· Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, Document control system) Desired:
· Prior experience in Civil engineering / Infrastructure projects
· Computer competence (CAD)
· Relevant
Experience with a Tier 1 Contractor
· First Aid Trained
· Fire Marshall TraineeSCS Railways
