We’re looking for a proactive and skilled Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of development and regeneration projects, helping clients identify environmental risks and deliver practical, sustainable solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing- Environmental Site Assessments – Conduct Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.
- Contamination Assessment – Assess soil and groundwater contamination, identify pollutant linkages and undertake environmental risk assessments.
- Technical Reporting – Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments, remediation strategies and supporting documentation.
- Project Delivery – Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
- Client & Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and industry best practice.
- Innovative Thinking – Help develop practical and innovative solutions to land contamination and wider environmental challenges.
We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
You’ll Ideally Have- A degree in Environmental Science, Geology or a related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.
- Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.
- Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.
- Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, colleagues and project stakeholders.
- A full UK driving licence.
