Information Manager

Building a sustainable tomorrow The Ferrovial BAM Joint Venture has a successful history of delivering critical infrastructure for the UK on time and to budget together in joint venture partnership. They first worked together in 2010 as BFK, delivering three Crossrail contracts, including the longest stretch of tunnelling works between Royal Oak and Farringdon and Farringdon Station, the first central station to be completed on the Elizabeth Line.

The team is also delivering the Silvertown Tunnel project together in East London and has been delivering excellence at each stage of HS2, such as Fusion JV for the Enabling Works packages, EKFB for the central Main Works Contract and now delivering the track infrastructure across the entire HS2 route. We are now recruiting for an Information Manager to join the HS2 Track infrastructure project.

Candidates will be based in our London or Birmingham office and may be required to visit client offices on occasion. We recognise the importance of flexibility and will consider flexible working arrangements following an initial team integration period on an individual basis, reviewing requests in line with project needs and BAM's Flexible working policy. Making Possible As Information Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
Delivers pipeline and workload management to meet customer needs on tenders and projects, coordinating with DPS Engineers, Production, and Support for appropriate resources. Advise clients, ensuring their business requirements are met with exemplary plans, specifications, reviews, and controls. Implement process improvements on tenders and projects using digital tools. Contribute to and engage with DPS Centres of Excellence (CoE) for best practice guidance.

Stay updated on digital advancements and industry developments, championing within on tenders and projects. Adhere to industry standards, company procedures, and legal requirements, communicating any opportunities or threats to DPS and the tenders and projects we support. Coordinate disciplines and DPS members for ISO
19650 audits. Work to health & safety, environmental, and quality standards. Delivering in accordance with company policies and reports non-compliance. Support the implementation of the DPS digital strategy. Support the management of risk, opportunity, change, and commercial impact communication within the project/contract team, ensuring compliance with BAM procedures. Ensure the Responsibility Matrix is complete, agreed upon, and communicated effectively to the Delivery Team.

Facilitate information management training, supporting Delivery Team and stakeholders as required. Align technical solutions with BAM approved technology applications . Manage the delivery of the Project and/or Asset Information Model, as specified in the Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BAM requirements. Lead the development of BAM's ISO
19650 standards and associated deliverables. Working with DPS Support, implement systems for information management, sharing, and storage according to security standards, including archiving and disposal. Manage the Common Data Environment(s) and facilitate training and support for its use. Manage the delivery of the Project and/or Asset Information Model, as specified in the Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BAM requirements. Act as the information advisor to tender/project/contract teams, our clients/employers and stakeholders, ensuring BAM's ISO
19650 standards and delivery plan are achieved. Build trusted relationships with wider DPS, and commercial, legal, and procurement functions to ensure supply chain compliance with client and BAM requirements – including contribution to the Responsibility Matrix, Master and Task Information Delivery Plans (MIDP & TIDP) Secure DPS Support and IT resources for digital systems mobilisation and maintenance, ensuring data integrity. Collaborate with IT and DPS Support for fit-for-purpose digital systems and methods.

Instigate and manage collaboration with IT and DPS Support to ensure that digital systems and working methods are fit for purpose and efficient for the relevant stage of the project/asset lifecycle. Ensure compliance with BAM's ISO
19650 standards and procedures and address any non-compliance. Prepare and provide reports, analysis and forecasting as required. Prepare and handover the tender/project Mobilisation Plan to DPS Support and IT Business Partner for mobilisation of tender/project technology.…
