Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Mobile Mechanical Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.
Our client is one of the largest facilities management and maintenance contractors in the UK, offering market leading opportunities for talented professionals looking for long term career progression.
We are looking for an Mobile Mechanical Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.
As the Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.
The Mobile Mechanical Engineer, will be responsible for:
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and fault finding on mechanical systems
* Maintain and repair systems including AHUs, ventilation (intake/extract), FCUs, heating and cooling systems, and water assets (booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters)
* Respond to client queries on-site and provide clear updates on works undertaken
* Accurately complete all documentation, including service reports, inspection logs, and remedial actions
* Support on-call rota and travel between sites within the same contract area
To be successful for this Mobile Mechanical Engineer role you must have:
* Level 2 or 3 qualification in Plumbing, Heating, and Ventilation (City & Guilds or equivalent)
* Proven experience in commercial mechanical maintenance or facilities management
* Experience working in a mobile maintenance role or multi-site environment
* Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
* Good communication skills with a proactive, client-focused approach
* Experience participating in an on-call rota
* Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise tasks effectively
