Location:
Belgravia, London Salary: £45,000–£48,000 per annum Working Pattern:
Continental Day Shift Pattern Callout: 1 week in 4
The Role We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at a prestigious site on Belgravia, London . The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance, ensuring the building's mechanical systems and facilities are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive mechanical maintenance. Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults efficiently and safely. Undertake routine inspections and maintenance of building services systems. Respond to reactive maintenance requests and breakdowns. Complete maintenance tasks in accordance with health and safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of completed works and report any outstanding issues. Work effectively alongside other engineers and site-based teams.
Support the smooth and efficient operation of the building and its mechanical systems. Participate in the site callout rota, approximately 1 week in 4 .
The Ideal Candidate Previous experience working as a Mechanical Engineer within a commercial building or facilities management environment. Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding experience. Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications. Good understanding of health and safety requirements. Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team. Good communication and organisational skills. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
Willingness to participate in the callout rota. Working Hours & Package Shift Pattern:
