- Rehearsal Management:Schedules rehearsals, takes detailed notes on blocking, and communicates director’s requests to actors and creative teams.
- Production Communication:Acts as the primary liaison between the director, producers, designers, and technical crew.
- Technical Rehearsals:Leads technical rehearsals and coordinates with crew to ensure smooth set, light, and sound transitions.
- Performance Management:Calls all technical cues during live shows, manages backstage activities, and ensures the show runs safely and according to the director's vision.
- Administrative Duties:Prepares rehearsal reports, maintains the "prompt script" (master script with all cues), manages budgets, and oversees props/scenery.
- Safety & Compliance:Ensures health and safety protocols are followed by all cast and crew.
