What you'll bring to the team

Are you a multi-skilled Studio Creative Technician looking for an exciting, hands-on role in immersive entertainment? We’re looking for a creative and practical individual to help deliver fully immersive and interactive experiences at three of London’s most iconic attractions:
The London Dungeon, Shrek’s Adventure! London and SEA LIFE London Aquarium.

As a Studio Creative Technician, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our attractions to life. You’ll support the Studios Management and attraction operational teams to ensure the smooth creation, development, maintenance, cleaning and construction of sets, props, figures, costumes, makeup and wigs. Your work will help ensure our guests experience world-class storytelling and unforgettable moments every day.

This role will involve working a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week on a rota basis (paid hourly). Our attractions operate seven days a week, so this will include weekends, bank holidays, peak periods, and occasional night shifts.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Diploma, Art Foundation equivalent, or above in Theatre Arts, construction, prop making, costume, makeup, or special effects
  • Relevant Arts or Technical Arts qualification, or equivalent practical training
  • Experience in a Studios, theatre, film, or technician role

Additional Considerations:

  • BA (Hons), HND, or equivalent in Theatre Arts, Construction, Prop Making, Design, or Makeup and Special Effects
  • Experience working within theatre, film and TV, immersive experiences, or visitor attractions
  • First Aid at Work qualification

Skills:

  • Strong practical skills across scenic, props, costume, wigs and makeup
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering work to an exceptional standard
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Flexible, proactive and willing to support operational and marketing needs when required
