Overview
The Staff Game Designer leads world-building and community engagement initiatives for a gaming studio, shaping player experiences and fostering community relationships. This senior design role involves strategic gameplay decisions, narrative direction, and cross-functional collaboration with development teams. The position requires deep industry expertise and the ability to influence game direction at a strategic level.
Responsibilities- Lead world-building efforts to shape player experiences and strategic direction.
- Drive community engagement initiatives and foster positive relationships with players and external communities.
- Make strategic gameplay decisions and provide narrative direction in collaboration with cross-functional development teams.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, art, and production to align on game direction and milestones.
- Deep industry expertise in game design and live game operations.
- Ability to influence game direction at a strategic level and communicate vision effectively.
