Position OverviewAs Front of House Manager (Operations), you’ll help create great experiences for guests, artists, promoters, and clients from planning through to event delivery.
What you’ll be doing- Lead the operational planning and delivery of events from initial brief through to post-show reporting.
- Act as Duty Manager on event days, coordinating teams and contractors to ensure events run safely and smoothly.
- Create event risk assessments and help manage crowd flow, accessibility and security planning.
- Support venue compliance, incident management and the delivery of Protect Duty requirements.
- Build strong relationships with promoters, artists, clients and partners.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally, always looking for positive outcomes.
- Help deliver profitable events by managing costs and supporting post-show settlements and reporting.
- Work with venue partners to maintain high standards and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience in event operations within a live entertainment, venue, hospitality or customer‑facing environment.
- Strong knowledge of event‑day operations, venue safety and crowd management.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple teams and contractors in a busy environment.
- Able to build positive relationships with a wide range of people.
- Organised, practical and able to manage competing priorities.
- A valid Personal Licence.
- IOSH and Level 5 Crowd Management qualifications are welcome but not essential.
