Fixed Term

Contract:

28 September - 19 October 2026 (inclusive of training days)

BFI is looking for LFF Expanded Venue Coordinators to act as central points of contact on-site for all LFF Expanded programmes across immersive exhibitions, games and VR, and the Expanded Industry Day event activity for customers, BFI staff, contractors, and artists. The successful candidates will also apply a working knowledge of basic technical systems to undertake the daily start-up and shutdown of exhibitions in accordance with documented procedures.

What you'll do

  • Work closely with the LFF Expanded team, technical support and artists, to ensure exhibitions and events run smoothly, and technical issues are reported quickly. Resolving operational and technical problems where possible or immediately elevating the issue to the venue and/or Expanded team.
  • Work in a collaborative capacity with a customer-focused approach. Ensuring that optimal audience flow through the building is maintained and optimising the customer experience.
  • Ensure artists, guests, and audiences are greeted warmly and courteously upon arrival at the venue and provided clear information regarding the exhibition. Ensuring exhibition spaces and waiting areas are presentable at all times.

What you'll bring

  • Experience gained within a cultural organisation, events or other related organisation, in a similar role.
  • Experience in delivering excellent customer service, managing issues diplomatically and resolving concerns with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Experience using basic exhibition, event or audiovisual technologies within a public-facing environment.

Interviews will be held in the week commencing 24 August 2026.

BFI supports diversity and inclusion and, as an organisation, recognises the need to address under-representation within its teams. As such, BFI strongly welcome and encourages applicants from our under-represented groups who identify as D/deaf and disabled and/or are ethnically diverse.
