August at Purple is a dedicated talent and partnerships division bringing together Purple's PR expertise with August's roster of music, sport and entertainment talent. We work across music, culture, fashion and lifestyle, representing artists, creators and brands globally.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an intern to join us for 3–4 weeks to support the PR campaign for a major international tour launching in September. This is hands‑on research and campaign support work, a great fit for someone interested in music and entertainment PR who wants real campaign experience.

  • Duration: 3–4 weeks, starting late August / early September 2026.
  • This is an unpaid internship; reasonable travel and lunch expenses will be covered.
  • Hours:

    Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Research key music, culture, fashion and lifestyle media across each tour territory.
  • Source and verify media contact details.
  • Build targeted media and influencer lists, identifying relevant journalists, creators and taste makers.
  • Assist with initial outreach to press and influencers where appropriate.
  • Research local reviewers, photographers and content creators in each city.
  • Help compile and organise tour press requests, interview opportunities and guest lists.
  • Monitor media announcements and identify new opportunities throughout the campaign.
  • Maintain accurate databases and spreadsheets to keep the campaign organised.
What We're Looking For
  • An interest in music, entertainment or PR.
  • Strong research skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently once briefed, and asking questions when needed.
  • Discretion you'll be working with confidential artist and tour information.
