The Role Our client is looking for a Cultural Events Manager to conceive, curate and deliver a calendar of arts, cultural and community programming that reflects the brand and strengthens its connection with the local community. This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of hospitality, arts, culture and brand storytelling, creating experiences that bring guests, local communities and creative talent together.

Key Responsibilities Develop and manage a varied calendar of cultural events including artist talks, live music, film screenings, literary events, pop-ups and community gatherings. Identify and build relationships with local artists, galleries, cultural institutions, creative collectives, restaurants, bars and other creative partners. Create original programming that engages the local community and reflects the hotel's identity and sense of place. Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of events, managing logistics, suppliers, production, technical requirements, staffing and on-site operations.

Manage event budgets, contracts and vendor relationships, ensuring events are delivered smoothly and to a high standard. Act as a cultural ambassador for the hotel, developing relationships across the local creative community and identifying opportunities for new partnerships and experiences. Work closely with the marketing team to promote events through social media, press, partnerships and other hotel channels. Collaborate with F&B, front-of-house and operations teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Work closely with the hotel's third-party restaurant partner to create integrated cultural experiences, including themed dinners, chef collaborations, food and culture events and private event opportunities. Coordinate shared programming and promotional activity between the hotel and restaurant, identifying opportunities to cross-promote events and drive engagement and revenue. Gather guest feedback and use insights to continually develop and improve the programming offering.

About You 3-5 years' experience in event management, cultural programming, arts administration or a similar role, ideally within hospitality, lifestyle or a creative environment. Strong knowledge of the local arts, music and cultural scene, with an established network of relevant contacts. Proven experience managing multiple events from concept through to delivery. Strong project management, communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills. Experience working with or alongside restaurant/F&B operations, with an understanding of partnerships and promotional opportunities.
