We’re looking for a confident and experienced freelance Stage Manager to join our onsite production team for Blue Earth Summit.

About the role

Blue Earth Summit is looking for an experienced Stage Manager to support the smooth delivery of our live programme at Woolwich Works.

Working closely with the production, programming and technical teams, you will manage activity across your assigned stage and ensure that every session runs safely, professionally and on schedule.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the day to day running of the assigned stage
  • Coordinate speakers, hosts, performers and technical teams
  • Ensure contributors are briefed, prepared and ready at the correct time
  • Maintain the stage schedule and communicate any changes promptly
  • Oversee rehearsals, sound checks and speaker transitions
  • Liaise with the Event Producer, technical team and event staff
  • Manage backstage access and maintain a calm, organised environment
  • Identify and resolve issues quickly during live sessions

    Follow all event safety procedures and production protocols
About you
  • Proven experience managing stages at conferences, festivals or live events
  • Confident working with speakers, performers and senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Calm and decisive under pressure
  • Comfortable managing detailed schedules and competing priorities
  • Able to work collaboratively within a fast paced production environment
  • Available for the full event period
Working dates

The role will take place from 13 October to 16 October 2026 at Woolwich Works in London. Exact working hours and call times will be confirmed in advance.
