The opportunity

Delaware North UK is hiring a casual Tour Guide to join our collaborative team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. As a Tour Guide, you will be leading guests around the venue, bringing the stories, achievements, and atmosphere to life. You will be sharing the history of stadium, including West Ham United F.C. and events like London 2012 Olympics and major concerts, guiding guests through an experience they will never forget.

The expected pay for this role is £27.10 / hour

• Communicate confidently and clearly to large groups of guests throughout the tour experiences
• Engage guests in the exciting history of West Ham United Football Club, stadium events, such as concerts, Major League Baseball London Series, Monster Trucks, UK Athletics, and the London 2012 Olympics
• Execute tasks effectively and in a timely manor
• Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

• No degree or experience required
• DBS approved, or willing to partake in a DBS check
• Interests in sports and entertainment events
• Strong skills in communication, public speaking, people orientation, time management, and organisation

• Ability to move around the venue, due to the nature of the role
• Availability to have a flexible schedule, attending shifts between Monday and Sunday
