Job Description:

We are looking for a UI Artist to help shape and produce the visual interface for our a new original IP mobile game This role sits between Art Direction, Game Design, UX, and Tech. Your goal is to create clear, polished, playful, and production-ready UI assets that support the game experience and match the project’s visual tone. The ideal candidate has strong graphic design foundations, excellent iconography and illustration skills, and a good understanding of how UI is implemented in Unity.

Your role within the Kingdom Design and produce high-quality UI assets for mobile gameplay, menus, HUDs, events, and live features. Create clear, readable, and polished icons, buttons, panels, badges, frames, and interface elements. Develop illustrative UI elements that support the game’s visual identity. Work from wireframes, UX flows, and art direction to create final UI visuals. Maintain consistency across UI screens, systems, and feature updates.

Prepare assets for Unity implementation with correct formats, naming, slicing, and optimization. Support the creation of UI style guides, templates, and documentation. Collaborate with UX, Design, Tech, and Art Direction to ensure UI is beautiful, functional, and production-ready. Contribute ideas to improve readability, usability, and visual quality. Collaboration and Integration Work closely with Art Direction to maintain the project’s visual style.

Collaborate with Game Designers and UX Designers to support clear player flows. Work with Unity developers to ensure UI assets integrate correctly. Coordinate with 2D, 3D, VFX, and animation teams when UI requires cross-discipline support. Communicate clearly with internal teams and respond well to feedback. Support production priorities while keeping a strong eye on quality and consistency.

Strong portfolio showing high-quality UI art for games or mobile products.

Excellent iconography skills with strong readability at small sizes.

Strong illustration skills, especially for stylized, playful, or polished game visuals.

Solid understanding of layout, composition, typography, color, hierarchy, and visual clarity.

Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or equivalent tools.

Experience creating UI assets for Unity.

Ability to prepare clean, optimized, implementation-ready assets.

Good understanding of mobile UI constraints and readability.

Experience working with art direction and established visual styles.

Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.

Good sense of polish, consistency, and quality control.

Experience working on casual, mobile, or family-friendly games.

Experience with AI.

Experience creating UI mockups, style guides, and asset libraries.

Knowledge of UI animation or motion design.

Comfort working with both 2D and 3D pipelines.

Experience supporting live game features, events, or seasonal content.
