Freelance Event Production Manager

Run shows for us when the calendar stacks up: site management, crew and schedule on corporate events, awards and activations.

Kudos AV produces conferences, award ceremonies, brand activations, exhibitions and private events across London and the UK, around 500 a year, from our base in Uxbridge. The core team is full time; when a build needs more hands we book freelancers we know, and the people who do good work get booked again and again.

For production management that means taking a planned show and delivering it: owning the site, the schedule, the crew and the client on the day, with our office behind you and the kit list already fought over.

• Site manage load ins, show days and de-rigs against the production schedule.
• Run crews across sound, lighting, video, staging and scenic.
• Hold the client relationship on site and make calls when the plan meets the venue.
• Close out shows properly: paperwork, damages, lessons and thanks.

• Several years running live event production, with shows of real scale to your name.
• Fluent across the technical departments; you do not need the desk explained.
• Calm authority with crews, venues and clients.
• Able to run events across London and the UK.

• IOSH or similar safety qualification and your own PLI.
• Vectorworks literacy, enough to read and mark up a plan.
• A full UK driving licence.
