Art Director

Our client is looking for an experienced and visionary Art Director to lead the visual development of their exciting new projects within their studio located in East London. This senior leadership role is responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall artistic vision and quality standards. You will guide and mentor a team of talented artists, ensuring the cohesive and compelling visual execution of projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate possesses a keen artistic eye, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to translate creative concepts into stunning visual realities within a collaborative studio culture.

• Define, communicate, and uphold the artistic vision and style guide for all projects.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of concept artists, 3D modelers, animators, and technical artists.
• Oversee the creation of all visual assets, ensuring high quality, consistency, and adherence to project goals.
• Collaborate with game designers, producers, and engineers to ensure artistic elements are integrated effectively.
• Review artwork, provide constructive feedback, and approve final assets.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in art creation for games or interactive media, with at least 3 years in an Art Director or Lead Artist role.
• A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional artistic talent and leadership in visual development.
• Deep understanding of art principles, including color theory, composition, anatomy, and perspective.
• Proven ability to manage artistic teams and guide them towards a unified vision.
