About the role:
This is a unique opportunity to join our newly established Middle Office team in London. The Middle Office Specialist will support the Head of Middle Office in building a team focused on reconciliations, settlement, risk oversight and regulatory reporting, bridging the Front Office, Operations, Risk and Compliance functions to deliver world‑class client service and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve reconciliation breaks between exchanges, wallets, clients, banks and accounting systems.
- Work closely with Dealers, Operations and Finance teams to identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Manage risk processes including limit monitoring, margin requirements, margin calls and exposure analysis.
- Ensure adherence to internal risk policies and external regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure compliance with EMIR, CFTC/SDR, ISDA and other applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with Technology, Compliance and other stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Previous experience in a similar Middle Office or Operations role within a financial institution.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments, trade flows and settlement processes.
- Knowledge of best practices in trade lifecycle management, reconciliation and regulatory reporting.
