Senior Pricing Analyst

G MASS Consulting are supporting a leading Audit & Advisory firm as they continue to invest in their motor insurance pricing capability. We’re seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead and shape motor pricing strategy across retail portfolios. You’ll have ownership of the end-to-end motor pricing process, combining technical pricing expertise with commercial judgement to drive profitable growth, portfolio performance, and customer value.

As a senior member of the pricing leadership team, you’ll influence pricing strategy, champion advanced and innovative pricing techniques and help scale and mature the motor pricing function across the UK and Europe.

• Partner with Pricing Leadership to define and implement strategic pricing decisions across motor insurance products
• Own end-to-end retail motor pricing, including rate reviews, portfolio optimisation and ongoing performance monitoring
• Analyse portfolio performance and deliver clear, data-driven recommendations to improve profitability, growth and retention
• Drive adoption of advanced pricing techniques, including telematics, data science and predictive modelling approaches
• Collaborate closely with product, underwriting, distribution, data science and senior leadership to support wider business objectives
• Ensure pricing approaches align with regulatory expectations, customer outcomes and risk appetite

• 3+ years’ experience in personal lines pricing, ideally with motor pricing experience
• Proven track record managing pricing strategies, with a creative and challenging approach to traditional methods
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including SQL, Python, R, or equivalent, with model-building experience
• Excellent communication skills, able to present complex analysis to non-technical stakeholders and influence decisions
• Ability to balance commercial objectives with pricing integrity and maintain analytical rigor
