Position:Associate or Senior Associate, Valuations Team Key Accountabilities
- Conduct thorough research on industries, comparable companies, and transactions to inform valuation processes.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models and perform detailed analysis to support valuations.
- Interpret financial statements and relevant financial data to construct meaningful conclusions and recommendations.
- Effectively communicate valuation analysis and results to clients and internal teams.
- Take responsibility with executives for analysis of comparable transactions and quoted companies.
- Apply research and analysis to appraise business plans and assess risk & reward.
- Attend site visits and meet management teams to better understand the business.
- Prepare first draft valuations and present internally.
- Begin building own relationships with both management and wider stakeholders.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and client expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop new approaches and improvement strategies. >
- Bachelor's degree.
- For Associate: 1‑2 years of relevant experience; for Senior Associate: 3‑4 years of valuation experience in a professional services or consulting environment.
- Proficiency in various valuation methodologies and financial modelling.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Desirable:
Professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ACA) or equivalent will be considered an asset. - Associate
