About the RoleThis is a telephone‑based trainee position
, ideal for someone who enjoys speaking to clients, qualifying opportunities and working towards clear performance targets.
You will act as the first point of contact for inbound and outbound enquiries, qualifying clients, understanding their funding requirements and introducing suitable cases to senior brokers. This role is fundamental to the success of the brokerage and offers a clear pathway into a full advisory position.
You will gain hands‑on exposure to:
- Commercial mortgages
- Bridging finance
- Development finance
- Complex buy‑to‑let and specialist lending
Full training will be provided, alongside daily exposure to live cases and experienced brokers.
Key Responsibilities- Qualifying client enquiries and discovering their financial position, property details and funding requirements
- Assessing suitability for commercial mortgages, bridging loans and development finance
- Gathering accurate information to package qualified clients for senior brokers
- Building rapport and confidence with professional property investors and business owners
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and case notes
- Working towards individual and team performance targets
- Developing commercial finance knowledge through ongoing training and mentoring
- Competitive basic salary (dependent on experience)
- Uncapped commission or performance‑related bonus structure

- Strong communication and listening skills
