Overview

We’re partnering with a well-established international asset finance organisation to recruit a Portfolio Credit Risk Analyst into their UK Risk team.

This role sits within Credit Risk and focuses on portfolio analytics, automated credit decisioning and performance insight, supporting Risk, Sales and Collections teams with high-quality data and analysis.

Hybrid Working on offer (2-3 days in the office).

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and deliver portfolio and risk reports using both local and centrally produced data.
  • Collaborate with central data teams to ensure consistency and long-term alignment of reporting standards.
  • Analyse portfolio performance to identify risks, trends, and opportunities, and present actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Evaluate and enhance data quality, sources, and collection processes to improve analytical accuracy.
  • Combine and interrogate data from multiple current and historical sources to support analysis and modelling.
  • Produce regular and bespoke reports for management and wider business teams.
  • Interpret patterns and outcomes to support forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Identify data issues early, investigate root causes, and support resolution and remediation.
  • Maintain, test, and enhance the automated credit decisioning system, recommending changes to optimise risk outcomes across business channels.
  • Provide ongoing analytical support to Risk and Collections through portfolio monitoring and market analysis.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Portfolio Risk/credit risk experience experience, with proven experience in data analysis and using reporting tools such as Power Bi and Dataverse.
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Background in asset finance, or leasing within Financial Services.
  • Confident explaining data insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines
