Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller to collect brokerage fees from International clients globally. The role is based in the City and they currently work 4 days in the office and 1 from home.

• Monitor aged debt and implement strategies for prompt payment.
• Directly manage high-value or complex accounts and coordinate the collection efforts for aged debt.
• Investigate and resolve backlogs of old debt and unallocated cash.
• Liaise with operators and/or customers to resolve issues related to payments, invoicing and disputes.
• Ensure timely and accurate cash allocation and reconciliation of accounts.
• Ensure that collections are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures, e.g. KYC & KYP.
• Work with divisional finance, operators and brokers to align collection strategies, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged in the credit control process.
• Provide advice on the handling of overdue accounts and recommend appropriate actions for credit risk management.
• Coordinate and support collection activities across various divisions, ensuring uniformity in approach.
• Monitor the accounts receivable ledger and generate reports on aging debts and collections progress.
• Provide regular updates and insights to the Credit Control Manager, highlighting any potential risks or opportunities.

Global credit control experience within a large corporate organisation.
