The OpportunityA high-performing, Private Equity-backed professional services consultancy with £45m turnover and £14m EBITDA is entering its next investment cycle and is seeking an ambitious FP&A Manager to support its growth journey.
With a clear three-year strategy to scale organically and through M&A, the business is focused on value creation, professionalisation and driving toward a future exit transaction. This is a rare opportunity to join a commercially driven finance function at a pivotal point in the investment lifecycle.
The RoleReporting into an established Financial Controller, with a dotted line to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will play a central role in shaping financial insight, decision-making and performance management across the group.
The FP&A Manager will lead core FP&A activity, including:
- Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Delivery of high-quality commercial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Development and enhancement of management information, reporting and financial models
- Data improvement initiatives to support scale, integration and professionalisation
- Business partnering with the Senior Leadership Team, business unit leads and wider finance stakeholders
- Supporting M&A activity, including financial analysis, integration planning and performance tracking
- This role will be instrumental in empowering growth, driving accountability and embedding best-in-class FP&A practices across the organisation.
This opportunity would suit a high-calibre finance professional who is ambitious, commercially minded and motivated by working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in FP&A, commercial finance or financial planning roles
- Exposure to high-growth, Private Equity-backed or similarly dynamic environments
- Strong business partnering capability with non-finance stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into clear commercial insight
- Confidence operating in a changing, transaction-focused setting
