Accounts Assistant, Sheffield 10-month Dedicated Term

Reporting lines:
Accounts Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Process supplier and customer invoices accurately and in line with agreed timelines.
Manage accounts payable activities, including payment setup and query resolution.
Support accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing.
Manage finance inboxes and respond to internal and kolay external queries in a timely manner.
Complete bank and account reconciliations, escalating discrepancies where required.
Track, review and process employee and House expenses via Pleo and other approved methods.
Compile and organise financial data to support reporting and month‑end processes.
Support online purchasing and related administrative tasks.
Provide day‑to‑day support to the Accounts Manager and Finance Director.
Maintain accurate financial records, documentation and filing systems.

The Accounts Assistant plays a key supporting role within the Sheffield finance team, contributing to the accuracy, organisation and reliability of financial information across the business.
Day to day, the role is responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts and managing finance‑related correspondence, ensuring that transactions are recorded correctly and efficiently. Strong attention to detail is essential, as the role helps maintain financial controls and supports wider reporting and compliance requirements.
The Accounts Assistant works closely with colleagues across the business, responding to queries withกรรม professionalism and empathy, and supporting teams to follow finance processes correctly.
