A leading global alternative investment firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Secondaries Investor Relations team in London. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on managing relationships with institutional investors and providing insights into secondary fund strategies and transactions across private equity and credit markets. The role offers significant exposure to fundraising, investor reporting, and strategic engagement within a top-tier secondaries platform.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and deepen relationships with institutional investors across Europe and the US
- Support fundraising and capital raising initiatives for secondary funds, including preparation of marketing materials, pitchbooks, and investor presentations
- Provide detailed reporting and analysis on secondary fund portfolios, transactions, and performance metrics
- Coordinate investor due diligence requests and respond to queries with clarity and professionalism
- Collaborate closely with the investment team to communicate market updates, portfolio developments, and transaction highlights
- Mentor junior IR team members and contribute to the development of investor engagement processes
- 4+ years of experience in investor relations, client coverage, or fundraising within private equity, secondaries, or alternative investments
- Strong understanding of secondaries transactions, fund structures, and private markets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills
- Proven ability to interact with senior institutional investors and provide strategic insights
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and top-tier institutional investors
- Work on high-profile secondary fund transactions and investor engagements
