Location: Greater London

A well-established London talent agency representing leading creative talent across the UK and US is looking for a hands-on Head of Accounts & Operations to join the team on a maternity cover contract (with potential to become permanent).

This is a pivotal role at the heart of a fast-paced, collaborative agency with a supportive culture and ambitious growth plans. Reporting to the Managing Directors, you’ll lead day-to-day finance and operations, taking full ownership of core processes while helping keep the business running smoothly as it grows.

Key responsibilities
  • Revenue invoicing, payment tracking, and AP/AR oversight
  • Monthly management accounts, financial reporting (P&L, balance sheet, commissions)
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end and year-end processes
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and agent projections
  • Payroll administration and expenses
  • VAT and Corporation Tax support with external accountants
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and compliance
  • International payments and exchange rate monitoring
  • Liaising with accountants, banks, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Supporting day-to-day operational and business processes
What we’re looking for
  • 3+ years’ experience in a finance/accounts role
  • Strong experience with Xero (or similar) and Excel
  • Confident producing management accounts and financial reports
  • Operational experience highly desirable
  • Agency experience advantageous (not essential)
  • Highly organised, detail-focused and analytical
  • Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable owning a broad remit
  • Strong communicator who enjoys working closely with teams
