Macro Futures and Options Execution Sales Trader

We are a leading global investment bank seeking a highly experienced Macro Futures and Options Sales Trader to join our expanding Global High Touch Execution Desk in New York. The ideal candidate will have deep relationships with US Real Money clients, strong product knowledge across macro instruments (rates, FX, commodities, equity indices), and a proven track record in high-touch execution.

This is a strategic hire to bolster our presence in the US and enhance our differentiated client service offering to institutional investors.

Execute listed futures and options orders across global macro products (rates, FX, commodities, equity indices) for institutional clients with precision and minimal market impact.

Provide market color, execution strategies, and pre-/post-trade analytics to Real Money clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and insurance companies.

Maintain and grow strong relationships with key Real Money accounts in the US, delivering high-touch, differentiated client service.

Act as a liaison between the trading desk and internal sales/trading teams, research, and electronic execution counterparts.

Monitor and adapt to market structure changes, regulatory developments, and exchange updates that impact futures and options execution.

Help to grow the bank’s execution franchise by identifying client opportunities and collaborating with the global trading and sales teams.

Ensure all trading activities comply with firm policy and regulatory requirements.

7+ years of experience in macro futures and options execution trading.

Deep, active relationships with US Real Money clients essential.

Strong product expertise across interest rates, FX, commodities, and equity index derivatives.

Proven ability to execute large and complex orders with minimal slippage and strong risk management discipline.

Familiarity with global exchanges and clearinghouses.

High attention to detail, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience working in a fast-paced, regulated trading environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field;
Series 7 & 63 preferred.
