Assistant Accountant; exposure to Python​/VBA​/SQL tier Investment Firm - G

We are working exclusively with an extremely exciting, fast-growth investment firm, helping them secure an Assistant Accountant. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for leveraging technology to optimise accounting processes.

On a day-to-day basis, this position with manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing while supporting month-end and year-end financial reconciliations, reporting, and ledger maintenance. You will utilise relevant coding languages / leverage accounting systems (Python, SQL, and VBA) to automate financial workflows, optimise reporting, and enhance data analysis capabilities. In doing this, you will work closely with finance and technology teams to implement automation tools for accounting and reporting functions and assist in developing dashboards to enhance operational efficiency.

For this, we are looking for detail orientated candidates, who have experience working in a large, or fast growth firm (financial services desirable). You should thrive working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. It is important to have exposure to a coding language and have a track record of being proactive with automation / process improvement tasks.
