Assistant Accountant

Consumer Additions are working with a fast-growing wellness brand to recruit a finance assistant to join their business as they continue to scale.

We are looking for a highly capable Assistant Accountant to join their finance function and support the day-to-day running of the department. This role is based in Central London and reports to the Head of Finance
.

You will play a key role in managing the processing side of the finance function, including sales and purchase ledgers, payment runs, supplier reconciliations, and month-end tasks. With a strong emphasis on financial controls, attention to detail is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with an established brand presence, working within a small, collaborative finance team.

• Proactively leading period-end processing, including:
• Bank reconciliations
• Payroll journals
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Managing the accounts inbox and maintaining strong communication with suppliers
• Ensuring suppliers are paid on time and resolving any queries promptly
• Preparing weekly payment runs
• Processing and reconciling sales within the products division
• Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks, such as contributing to the budgeting process

• Intermediate to strong Excel skills
• Highly accurate with strong attention to detail
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, curious, and keen to learn
• Systematic, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Hardworking with a positive approach to work
