We are partnering confidentially with a leading global independent investment banking advisory firm to recruit a Legal Entity Accountant (Associate)
- Newly Qualified ACA/ ACCA into its London-based Finance team. This role is perfect for a first move from practice, or first step after qualifying in another bank or Financial Services business. The role offers outstanding exposure to legal entity accounting, regulatory reporting, technical accounting, and audit within a world-class financial services platform.

The OpportunityRole: Newly Qualified ACA - Legal Entity Accountant (Associate)

Working model: Hybrid - 3 days per week in the office

Key Responsibilities Legal Entity Accounting & Month-End Close- Support daily and monthly accounting across revenue, expense, and balance sheet categories.
- Prepare accruals, prepayments, fixed asset and lease accounting, and GAAP adjustments.
- Assist with month-end close, balance sheet substantiation, and reconciliations.
- Support management reporting and performance analysis.
- Assist with statutory accounts preparation and regulatory reporting.
- Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit evidence.
- Liaise with outsourced providers and external advisors.
- Research accounting treatments across UK and US GAAP.
- Support finance transformation initiatives, regulatory change, and accounting policy implementation.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects across the wider finance function.
- Newly Qualified ACA (Big 4 audit background or within Financial Services).
- Experience auditing financial services clients or working within a financial services business is essential.
- Strong grounding in statutory reporting, audit, and accounting fundamentals.
- Interest in building a long-term career within financial services.
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging senior stakeholders.
- Salary: £60,000 per annum + discretionary bonus.
