A well‑established fixed income firm is seeking an experienced Emerging Markets Credit Sales professional to join its institutional sales platform.
The business specialises in global fixed income, with a strong reputation in the secondary trading of illiquid assets and in delivering tailored solutions to both investors and issuers. Operating internationally, the firm combines deep market expertise with an analytical, problem‑solving approach to help clients navigate complex credit situations across global markets.
The team works closely with institutional counter parties including asset managers, hedge funds, banks and insurance companies, providing market insight, access and execution across a broad range of fixed income products.
The OpportunityThis role is suited to a revenue‑generating sales professional with an established and developing institutional client base. You will be responsible for maintaining and growing client relationships, marketing EM credit opportunities to a defined investor audience, and collaborating internally to maximise distribution and execution outcomes.
You will join an experienced and stable platform with a strong track record in Emerging Markets. The wider group includes sales, origination and legal professionals, offering a well‑resourced and collaborative environment.
Experience & Background- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in institutional distribution of Emerging Markets fixed income products
- Solid understanding of the EM investor universe, with active relationships across hedge funds, asset managers and private banking clients
- Demonstrated client coverage across the UK, Europe and the United States
- Strong product exposure to EM credit, with particular depth in LATAM, CIS and Sub‑Saharan Africa, covering both sovereign and corporate bonds
- High levels of professionalism, integrity and personal accountability
- Commercially focused and solutions‑driven in approach
- Able to absorb complex information quickly and communicate it clearly
- Comfortable working as part of a team while owning individual performance
