Location: Greater London

Head of FP&A | PE Backed | Salary £110,000 - £130,000 + bonus and benefits.

I am currently partnering with a PE backed Infrastructure company who are looking for a Head of FP&A to join the Group Finance team. This is for a large‑cap business that will be looking to go through an exit within the next 12‑24 months. You will need experience from working in a large business and have worked within the Group FP&A team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end integrated planning process, ranging from short‑term liquidity forecasting to long‑term strategic projections.
  • Take full accountability for advanced complex financial models.
  • Prepare group‑level projections to inform the Executive team on strategic initiatives.
  • Act as the lead Finance Business Partner for high‑stakes transactions, including refinancing’s, divestments, joint ventures, and potential Group‑level exits.
  • Maintain high‑accuracy transaction models and leverage a strong grasp of valuation principles to articulate the Group’s value.
  • Oversee short‑term group cash flow forecasting, driving accuracy across various sites to ensure liquidity requirements are met.
  • Be the key business partner across the Group while working with the regional and local finance teams.
  • Prepare high‑standard board materials and "ad‑hoc" analysis for the C‑suite to support data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Drive the digital roadmap by leading finance systems projects and supporting the introduction of AI.

Key qualifications:

  • ACA qualified and trained from a top 4 practice.
  • Experience in large businesses, ideally £300m plus.
  • Previously led and developed a high‑performing team.
  • Worked closely with senior leadership and PE firms.
  • Advanced user of cloud‑based planning and reporting solutions, with hands‑on experience of implementation and/or upgrades.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Additional information:

  • Comfortable travelling to central London and having managed teams previously. This is an extremely exciting role in a PE‑backed business aiming for high growth that will lead to an exit.
  • Previous experience in a PE‑backed business in a similar role, with a desire to step up or take on a new challenge. Ideal for someone ambitious looking to drive their career forward.
