Financial Accountant

Rev & Regs are recruiting for a Financial Accountant (6-month FTC) role for a dynamic and well-established bank who offer both retail and wholesale banking products and services to private, corporate and institutional clients.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Financial statements are accurate, compliant with accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Prepare month end reports including income statement, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Work with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with reporting standards, internal controls and best practices.
• Assist in preparation of financial statement analysis reports including volume rate drivers and annual budget.
• Carrying out periodic accounting procedures at end of month and year, group packs and tax reporting.
• Co-ordinate and document the financial processes.
• Work on ad hoc projects as directed by the Line Manager.

Experience:

• Good Knowledge of accounting.
• Experienced in Finance and Accounting function in the financial services sector.
• Degree educated and accounting professional qualification (preferred).
• Strong skills with MS Office suite.
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organisation skills.
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient.

West End of London / 5 days per week in office
