About us

Sharegain began with one question:
If the largest institutions solely exercise the right to lend their stocks, bonds, and ETFs, what would it take to unlock this revenue opportunity for every investor?

Our team of experts in the UK, US and Israel built the solution: a platform that empowers online brokers, private banks, and wealth managers to offer securities lending to their clients. We call it SLaaS:
Securities Lending as a Service. It’s a fully digital, customizable, end-to-end solution that automates front- and back-office operations. Institutions and investors are now free to earn more from what they own.

Every Sharegainer has their own backstory, but we all share an ambition to do things differently – bigger, better, and greater. Together we’re on a mission to democratize capital markets by building a more liquid world. The more we share, the more we all gain.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Securities Lending Trader to join our team, to help scale a modern, data-driven trading desk within a disrupting agent lending firm. Ideal for a candidate with 2–5 years professional experience who enjoys markets, problem-solving, and applying quantitative thinking to real trading decisions.

You will:
  • Manage and optimise daily securities lending trading activity across equities and ETFs
  • Price loans, monitor supply and demand, and respond dynamically to market events
  • Analyse utilisation, rates, recalls, and inventory behaviour to maximise returns for our clients
  • Build and maintain Power

BI & Python-based tools for analytics, automation, and reporting
  • Foster deep & varied relationships, internally with partner functions and externally with market counter parties.
  • Contribute ideas to improve trading strategy, data quality, and platform efficiency
Required skills
  • 2–4 years’ experience in securities lending, prime brokerage, trading, or a related markets role
  • Strong quantitative mindset with the ability to interpret data and spot patterns
  • Python proficiency for analysis and automation
  • Comfort working with large datasets and market microstructure concepts
  • Curious, commercially minded, and motivated by ownership and growth
  • Clear communicator who thrives in a collaborative, low-hierarchy team
Why this role
  • Direct exposure to real P&L drivers in a high-growth technology led lending business
  • Steep learning curve across markets, data, and technology
  • A modern trading role where coding and market intuition go hand in hand
  • This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to grow into a senior trader or trading-quant profile while helping redefine how securities lending works in the retail space.

Sharegain is an equal opportunity employer. Employees and contractors, as well as prospective employees and contractors, will all be treated equally and fairly. We are passionate in our belief that a diverse workforce is central to our success, and we are proud to reflect this within our recruiting processes.
