Group Financial Accountant

Group Financial Accountant | London (in office twice a week) | £70 000 - £75 000

Due to continued growth, they’re hiring a practice-trained Financial Accountant to join a high-performing Finance team in a newly created role.

This position sits at the heart of a growing and increasingly complex group structure. You’ll work closely with qualified accountants, subject-matter experts and trainees, taking ownership of financial reporting while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business.

You’ll be trusted to work independently, explain complex accounting clearly, and help evolve processes as the organisation continues to scale.

• Developing and improving year-end group consolidation processes
• Producing monthly and quarterly consolidated management accounts for ExCo and Board
• Partnership accounting, including drawings, current accounts, profit allocations and tax retention (depending on experience)
• Corporate member and investment accounting, including goodwill amortisation and impairment reviews
• Supporting tax compliance (partnership tax, VAT, PSA, international tax exposure)
• Helping build an international tax reporting framework
• Supporting acquisitions and integration activity
• Partnering with billing managers and stakeholders across the business
• Reviewing write-offs and contributing to commercial discussions

• Practice trained
• Audit / Industry experience of LLP / consultancy / professional services clients
• Hands‑on experience preparing statutory financial accounts (either in practice or in industry)
