Role: Financial Adviser

Main Purpose of the Role

To provide high-quality, holistic financial advice to clients, supporting them in achieving their financial goals and objectives. The role will also focus on nurturing and growing existing client relationships while increasing funds under management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored advice to clients across all areas of financial planning, including investments, pensions, tax planning, inheritance, and protection.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to ensure the suitability of advice and alignment with clients’ evolving circumstances.
  • Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with clients.
  • Identify and create new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive client engagement.
  • Arrange and lead client meetings to understand their needs and objectives.
  • Adopt and utilise the company’s advice tools and documentation to ensure quality and consistency of advice.
  • Ensure all activity is compliant with regulatory and company standards, accurately recording data within the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and industry changes to provide clients with the most current and relevant guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure business processes are compliant and efficient.
  • Undertake other relevant duties as required by the wealth management business.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Advice (minimum).
  • Experience: At least 3 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser, delivering holistic financial planning.
  • Proven track record in advising clients on investments, pensions, inheritance tax planning, and protection (excluding mortgage products).
  • Skilled in using cashflow modelling software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-service ethos and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • High levels of honesty, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Agile, adaptable, and emotionally intelligent.
  • Resilient with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
People Management
  • While the role is primarily client-facing, the adviser will be expected to collaborate closely with colleagues, share best practices, and contribute positively to the wider team environment.
